Yeah, I don’t like lemonade – the drink or the Beyonce album. I just couldn’t think of another way to start this blog post because it’s really just going to be a lot of blabbing.
I’ve been going nonstop since the weekend before Walker Stalker and even then, I semi-worked with doing some Ubering. So after working some with Uber yesterday, I took today off and just rested.
I know sometimes I write personal posts on here, but it’s just to talk about what’s going on in my life. I saw this idea on another blog and thought it would be interesting to do.
Today is Monday, as I write this, and my mother is coming home from the hospital on Thursday. And I’m petrified.
On Sunday, April 2, 2017, I, Karah-Leigh, was probably the happiest girl in the whole wide world. Why? Because my all-time favorite group – Backstreet Boys – were at the Academy of Country Music Awards and they were performing with one of my other favorite groups – Florida Georgia Line. But first, let’s go […]
The past few days, I’ve been reading some of my old Backstreet Boys fan fiction. I know, one should probably never go back and read that stuff, but a lot of it, I’m proud of it. Some of it, I’m not.
Do you ever sit around and want to do something so badly, yet, you can’t really figure out what it is you want to do?
I wish more people understood why I love going to concerts so much. They think it’s a hobby and in a way, it is, but to me, going to concerts is almost as essential is air and water. Since I was in fourth grade, which I guess I was 9-years-old, concerts have been my life.
But being a Walker Stalker newbie, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I didn’t realize that if you didn’t have VIP, you were basically a peasant and had to wait hours upon hours for a picture or autograph.
The My2k tour with 98 Degrees and O-Town did not kill me, I promise. I’m still alive. Barely.
This is how I feel I should start off…I will admit that I am addicted to boy bands. I thought I had my addiction under control, I only took hits off Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block with occasional taste of Boys II Men and 98 Degrees.
Like we did with our review of the book, “Kill The Boy Band,” Hannah and I (Karah) got into a chat and wrote while watching the premiere of the western zombie boy band movie “Dead 7.”
Has anybody noticed me being MIA lately? Not on Twitter as much, working on some site or writing for something? Making videos or doing anything online?
My good friend Esther, who runs Kevin Richardson Online (check them out!) tweeted something out today that perked my interest and made me realize that I’m not sure I’ve ever told this story – the story of my first poster of Mr. Nickolas Gene Carter.
I said I wouldn’t do it, but in a way, I miss having a real site. I couldn’t bring Boys on the Block back because I still do not have the time to devote to it like it needs. I’ve come to the point in my life that I have too much going on, but […]
Not even a full week into the new year, I missed a day of my #BSB366. That’s what happens when you have a job and other things to do outside of work. Plus yesterday was my mother’s birthday so I took her out to eat before work.
Over the years, I’ve interviewed country music superstar and south Georgia boy Luke Bryan a few times. The first time I interviewed him, he was an up and coming singer who was opening for Dierks Bentley. The last time? He was about to be named Entertainer of the Year by the Academy of Country Music […]
One of my favorite performances of “I’ll Never Break Your Heart” is from Nick’s 18th birthday – January 28, 1998 – while they were on “Total Request” with Carson Daly.
You gotta stand for something / Even if you stand alone, don’t be afraid / It’s gonna be alright I’ve struggled with depression for over half of my life and I can say with certainty that the Backstreet Boys are part of the reason why I’m still here. But an extension of them is the reason why […]
Starting in 2016, I’m going to make a Backstreet Boys post discussing something that I love about the boys. Since it’s a leap year, it will be called #BSB366 – 366 days of Backstreet Boys love. That’s the way I like it…. One of my favorite Backstreet Boys songs is “That’s The Way I Like […]
