As many people know that have been my friend for at least six years, they know I loved the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy. Sure, the writing wasn’t that of Jane Austen (one of my heroes), but it drew you in and I read all three books in three days.
I was having a conversation with someone today about how interactive Nick Carter is with his fans and how personable he is with us. Out of all the celebrities, I’ve met, I have NEVER met someone who treats his fans like family the way Nick does.
Since Thursday’s announcement of the second Backstreet Boys theme – ’90s night – I’ve seen a lot of complaining on Twitter and on other social media.
You know what I’m talking about – the misconception that Backstreet Boys fans are nothing but a bunch of crazy fangirls who think they are going to end up marrying Nick Carter or Brian Littrell, have their babies and live happily ever after.
So many emotions have been running through my head this past week and a half and I know a lot of you have been feeling the same way.
I guess in a way, I always wanted to work in celebrity journalism before I even knew that was a thing. As a kid, I loved picking up the National Enquirer or People Magazine. Heck, I didn’t even know I wanted to work in journalism until I fell in love with it during college while […]
I know a lot of people have asked me why I haven’t commented about this on my site. There’s one reason for that. I tried to be quiet about everything dealing with it because not only do I help represent the boys online with writing for the site, I’m also a Nick girl and also […]
I can’t remember if I posted it on here or not, but I had decided not to do the 2018 Backstreet Boys cruise because a.) I didn’t have the second payment and b.) I was nervous about where my Mom would be in May with her health. One roomie had already backed out and the […]
I have been a fan of Demi Lovato’s since she came out in “Camp Rock” with the Jonas Brothers, who were already established performers by that point. Yeah, I was older and in college, but who cares? Good pop music is good pop music. I thought she was going to go places when she got older […]
Taylor Swift is back in a big way. After disappearing from the public eye for months, the country music princess turned pop queen has re-emerged with a new look, the announcement of her new album “Reputation,” a soon to be No. 1 hit song, and one of the most bad ass music video’s I have […]
I wish I could say I was writing a glowing review of CMT’S latest “Crossroads”, featuring Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys. I mean, I’ve had this night marked on my calendar since it was announced! I was going to put on my best merch, maybe pour a glass of Pinot, have some snacks […]
I have been a fan of Taylor Swift’s before a lot of people knew who Taylor Swift was.
There is always drama in the Backstreet Boys fandom at one point or another. God knows I’ve had my share of it back when I didn’t know to shut my mouth, but as we all do, I’ve learned. Why did I learn to keep my mouth shut sometimes? Because the Backstreet Army is a family […]
I’ve had two favorites in ABC’s “Boy Band” since the beginning.
Warning: There will be spoilers in this post. If you have not watched the final season, or even the first season of the Netflix show “Bloodline” do not read any further.
The Las Vegas residency is going to be a new phase of the Backstreet Boys life and something new for us Backstreet Boys fans who have been around since 1998 or longer. I mean, Backstreet’s definitely back now. Watching various live streams of the concert last night or snapchats, I could sense something different. It was […]
I was going to blog about this whole thing last night after watching the latest episode of “This Is Us.” It just felt too personal at the time. The episode had me crying a good little bit and now I’ll explain why.
I know what you’re thinking. You read the title of this post and you’re like, “what the…” I know. Most people would think that I might be on crack for saying that and, you know, that’s not true but most people think I’m crazy.
WARNING: There will be “Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” spoilers in this post. Enter at your own risk.
Like I’ve continuously said, things have been getting back to normal. I plan on recording parts for my and Ezra May’s next BSB video analysis today. We haven’t updated it in almost a year but this has been a crazy year. Like, really.
