Flashback Friday: @BackstreetBoys break records at the Georgia Dome

On Feb. 19, 2000, the Backstreet Boys brought their Into the Millennium tour to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, breaking concert attendance records and becoming the biggest concert in Georgia history.

The concert at the previous home of the Atlanta Falcons was the 5th most attended concert in American history and the most attended concert by a pop artist.

Late last year,  the Georgia Dome was demolished and next door is the magnificent Mercedez-Benz Stadium, but the record the Backstreet Boys broke still stands.

Check out a few photos from that event that I was given a few years ago below.

I'm a 30-something-year-old fangirl from Georgia, but basically grew up in Florida. I'm a former journalist, but still a writer, blogger and fangirl 24/7. Nick Carter owns me and Joey McIntyre has had my heart since 1987. I've been obsessed with "Friends" since 1995 and love Jay and Silent Bob.
